Who else loves a good before and after? Because today I’ve got a great one to share with you! We’re making a Dollar Tree Valentine’s Day DIY farmhouse mailbox. whew. That’s a mouthful.
I don’t know about you, but I love Valentine’s Day—mostly because of the person I get to share it with. Benj and I are planning to use this cute little mailbox to leave each other love notes leading up to Valentine’s day, and I kind of can’t wait!
Benj and I got engaged on February 12th, so this time of year always brings back so many amazing memories. I seriously can’t believe it’s been almost 4 years since that special day! God is so good and faithful.
Bring on the sweet words of encouragement and mushy love poems!
Dollar Tree Valentine’s Day DIY – Valentine Farmhouse Mailbox
I put together a step-by-step tutorial video on how I transformed this $1 mailbox into Dollar Tree farmhouse Valentine’s Day decor! You can complete this entire DIY for around $5, and it’s really pretty simple.
Again, I was going for a romantic farmhouse-chic look (a little bit farmhouse, a little bit shabby chic) for Valentine’s Day.
Materials I used for this project:
I purchased the first 6 items at Dollar Tree…
- large Valentine’s Day mailbox
- package of small, heart-shaped, white paper lace doilies
- bottle of matte Mod Podge
- spool of lace ribbon
- foam heart stickers
- brown jute twine
- hot glue
- white or off-white spray paint
- small paint brush

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and sometimes Dollar Tree sells out of their seasonal decor, so I’d recommend shopping for your supplies sooner rather than later.
