Today is the first day of Spring! It’s been a long winter here in the Pacific Northwest, and I am so ready for blue skies and warm sunshine. One of my favorite ways to bring the season inside, is to make it smell like spring. So today, I’m excited to share 3 of my favorite spring essential oil blends with you!
Even though we’re still having some grey, rainy days (in typical PNW fashion), signs of spring are finally starting to appear. Trees are blossoming and daffodils are popping up everywhere.
Bringing the outdoors indoors is one of my favorite (FREE!) ways to brighten up our little apartment.
I also love making our home smell like whichever season we’re currently experiencing. The perfect way to do that is with essential oils.
I love running my diffuser with uplifting, spring essential oil blends! Besides the wonderful health benefits they impart, essential oils make our home smell so nice and fresh.
Where I Purchase My Essential Oils
I have many friends who sell essential oils through Young Living and Doterra. I love that my friends are able to create income for their families through these companies—it’s fantastic!
And while I like both of those brands (and have some of their oils in my collection from gifts), I choose to purchase my essential oils through Edens Garden.
I have been so impressed by Edens Garden’s essential oils! The quality is just as high, but the prices are much, much lower because they sell direct to consumer. They’re the reason we’re able to afford high-quality essential oils on a tight budget, and for that I’m very thankful.
Edens Garden essential oils are 100% therapeutic grade, and are third party tested. In fact, the current GC/ MS report is available for their customers to view on each oil’s product page.
Plus, they offer free shipping on all orders, which is awesome, especially when I only need to place a small order.
I trust Edens Garden, and it takes a lot for me to put my trust in a company—especially a health-related one!
(NOTE: I realize that this can be a controversial subject because many people are brand loyal when it comes to essential oils, especially if they sell for a particular company. However, I’ve spent a lot of time reading and researching quality essential oil companies, and am convinced that Edens Garden is one of the best! 🙂
3 Spring Essential Oil Blends for Your Diffuser Home
Since so many of you requested these recipes on Instagram, I couldn’t not share them!
After much trial and error, I created these 3 spring essential oil blends to help refresh my home for springtime, and I’ve been using them on a regular basis.
1. Sweet Spring Rain
- 5 drops Lemon
- 2 drops Peru Balsam
- 1 drop Ylang Ylang
This uplifting blend is bright and sweet! It makes me smile, and reminds me of of a fresh spring rain that’s left the world glistening.
I ordered Peru Balsam for the first time from Edens Garden a few months ago, and was blown away by the beautifully sweet-yet-woody vanilla tones. You have to try a bottle for yourself. It’s gorgeous—and very affordable!
2. Garden Party
- 1 drop Geranium
- 2 drops Fennel
- 4 drops Lavender
- 1 drop Peru Balsam
If we were all sitting outside on a lush green lawn, sipping tea and wearing floppy hats, I imagine the air would smell something like this.
Geranium oil has so many amazing health benefits, from improving your mood and promoting circulation, to minimizing inflammation and reducing wrinkles! And fennel essential oil is beautifully sweet and excellent for aiding digestion!
3. Forest Floor
- 3 drops Spruce
- 3 drops Cedarwood
- 1 drop Peru Balsam
- 1 drop Lavender
This blend is less sweet and flowery than the first two, but has a lovely woody scent that reminds me of a walk through Pacific Northwest woods after a fresh rain.
Spruce oil is great for stimulating and fortifying the immune system. And cedarwood contains anti-inflammatory agents, can improve your focus, and even repels bugs!
2 Spring Essential Oil Blends You Can Buy
My last order from Edens Garden consisted of two oils: Spring Garden and Cellulite (I know, I know). Both of these oils are now my new obsession! Wow.
I purchased Spring Garden to brighten up the house (it’s basically springtime in a bottle), and Cellulite to help improve circulation in my legs (although I found that it’s lovely and peppery in the diffuser, as well).
Spring Garden blend consists of: Orange, Cedarwood, Lavender, Key Lime, Tangerine, Lemon, Vetiver, Geranium, Lemongrass, Copaiba and Jasmine.
Their Cellulite synergy blend is made of a combination of: Grapefruit, Juniper Berry, Cypress, May Chang, Cedarwood, Fir Needle, Sage, Pink Pepper, Birch, Fennel and Black Pepper.
Here’s a bonus tip that I love taking advantage of: you can buy their “Create Your Own” 2 set for just $13.95 with free shipping! You can choose from a long list of oil choices (single oils + blends—including the 2 I just mentioned!), and will receive two 10mL bottles in an adorable little box. These also make awesome gifts!
Now it’s your turn! What are your favorite spring essential oil blends, and where is your favorite place to buy essential oils?
I had never heard of Eden’s Garden before you posted 🙂 I was a loyal YL customer back in 2015-early 2016 and even tried building a business with them but I got quickly overwhelmed with it all and how expensive their oils were did not help. Thanks for sharing this, I look forward to being able to use essential oils again.
You’re so welcome! I think you’ll really like them. 🙂 Happy Spring!
Eden’s Garden is my favorite too, Lauren! They were recommended to me by a certified aromatherapist and I have been very pleased. For diffusing, I just used up the last of my fruity “Calming the Child” blend from Plant Therapy (another company I have used and like). I might have to try out some of your blends! ♡ you & miss you!
Calming the Child sounds like a nice blend! 😉 Eden’s Garden sells one called Sleepy Head that I want to try! I’ve tried Plant Therapy in the past and liked their oils. Love you and miss you, too!
